Roll out the red carpet and launch a campaign...

Using effective campaign strategies is one of the easiest ways to organically grow your social media platforms.  When you effectively launch and maintain a campaign, you will develop a regular following that will seek out your posts each day, and more importantly, share them with their quilting friends.

What is the difference between regular posts and a campaign?
A social media campaign is a coordinated marketing effort to reinforce or assist with a business goal using one or more social media platforms. Campaigns differ from everyday social media efforts because of their increased focus, targeting and measurability.

The Twelve Days of Christmas begin on Christmas day and end on January 5.

For years, when Stitchin' Tree sold retail kits and merchandise, we launched a 12 Days of Christmas campaign that began on Christmas day.

We ran the campaign on social media only, but emailed the launch to our retail email list.  We created a page on our website and added products to the page each day.  The page was linked to the Facebook and Instagram posts.

The images featured remaining Christmas kits or other merchandise that we were looking to move and were promoted using a special coupon code that would apply to all of the products listed on the "12 Days of Christmas" page on our website.  (We created a product category to include these items, and linked the product category to the coupon)

We no longer sell retail kits and merchandise, but that doesn't mean that we can't put our elf (named Bean Lake -- don't laugh, he was named by my grandchildren when they were 4 & 2) to work on a new campaign for our wholesale clients.  Maybe this campaign will help spark a campaign for you.

What makes this a campaign?

Today's email and post has all of the trappings of a campaign launch.
1.  Business goal:  Sell remaining product packaging supplies to quilt retailers
2.  Platform: Facebook only, Stitchin' Tree Wholesale Group
3.  Launch - email (see above)
4.  Landing page: Stitchin' Tree Website
5.  Target: Quilt Retailer existing clients
6.  Measure of Success (MOS):
     (1) 75% or more of existing packaging inventory sold and shipped
     (2) Increased number of followers on Facebook Group
     (3) 1 or more testimonial statements
