What Could You Share???

Sharing engaging content is one of the key elements in leveraging social media. To learn why you should use shared content and how much content you should share.  (see the link at the bottom of this blog to review these articles)

In this segment, I will explore various types of shared business social media content that can help you connect with your audience, boost your online presence, and drive business success.

1. Blog Posts

Blogging is a versatile and effective way to share valuable information with your audience. It allows you to dive deep into topics related to your industry, products, or services. A well-written blog post can establish your expertise, answer common questions, and provide solutions to problems your target audience faces.

Don't have time to write the blog posts yourself?  Don't sweat it!  Sharing blog posts on social media platforms not only drives traffic to your website but also encourages engagement and discussion.  The key is sharing blogs that fit your brand and target your audience.  Find several bloggers and follow them.  Don't share blogs from a single source, or your audience might shift their loyalty.

2. Memes

Memes have taken the internet by storm and have proven to be a powerful form of shared content on social media. They are humorous, relatable, and highly shareable. While memes might not be suitable for every business, they can be effective for those in industries where humor and relatability align with the brand's personality.  When sharing memes, do not remove the source credentials.

Yes, you can develop your own memes, but consider your return on effort.  The memes can build your audience, but they do not sell product or services.  The time you spend creating memes is time your could spend creating marketing posts that SELL.

3. Quotes

Inspiring or thought-provoking quotes resonate well with social media users. Sharing relevant quotes that align with your brand's values and message can help you connect with your audience on a deeper level. Quotes can be overlaid on eye-catching visuals to make them more shareable and visually appealing.  Make sure you give credit to the originator.

4. Advice & Tips

Providing valuable advice and tips related to your industry or niche can position your brand as an authority and a source of useful information. Whether it's a quick social media tip, a quilting hack, or a piece of professional advice, sharing these types of content can attract and retain followers who appreciate your expertise.

5. Product Descriptions

When launching a new product or service, sharing detailed product descriptions on social media is crucial. Visuals, specifications, features, and benefits should all be highlighted in a concise and engaging manner. You don't have time to do create these posts for every new product you launch.  Turn to designers, fabric manufacturers, and distributors to share high-quality images and videos to give your audience a comprehensive view of what you're offering.  Be sure to tag the designer or manufacturer!

6. Industry News & Updates

Keeping your audience informed about the latest industry news and updates can position your brand as a knowledgeable resource. Share articles, reports, and commentary on relevant industry topics. This content type not only engages your audience but also demonstrates your commitment to staying current and informed.

Sharing shared content on your business's Facebook page is a valuable strategy for enhancing engagement, establishing authority, and maintaining a consistent online presence. To make the most of this strategy, businesses should carefully balance shared content with original, branded content, ensuring that both align with their goals and values. With the right approach, sharing shared content can be a valuable addition to your social media strategy.
