HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU SHARE???

Posting curated content is a solid social media marketing strategy.  But how much curated content should you post???  Prevailing marketing strategy indicates that 60% of your post copy should be CURATED content, and 40% should be CREATED content.

WOWZER!!!  Just think how much time you would save if your curated more content, and created less...

Quality curated content can take many forms:

  1. Blog post

  2. Meme

  3. Quote

  4. Advice

  5. Demo

  6. Video

  7. Product, fabric, pattern

While I do not have enough space to thoroughly cover each type of shared content within this blog, I DO have space to share the ADVANTAGES of sharing shared content.

(NOTE, read to the end, and I'll preview a way to SCHEDULE shared content on Facebook.)

1. Increased Engagement

Sharing shared content on your Facebook page can boost engagement with your audience. By curating and sharing content relevant to your industry, you provide value to your followers. Thoughtful content curation can spark discussions, comments, and shares, increasing your posts' visibility in users' newsfeeds.

2. Positioning As An Industry Expert

Sharing insightful and informative content from reputable sources can establish your business as an authority in your industry. It shows that you are up-to-date with the latest trends and developments, earning trust and credibility from your audience.

3. Diversified Content

Running out of ideas for fresh content? Sharing shared content can help you diversify your posts. While you should create original content regularly, sharing industry news, articles, and relevant blog posts can fill gaps in your content calendar and keep your page active.

4. Save Time & Resources

Producing high-quality content requires time and resources. By sharing shared content, you can save time and still provide valuable content to your audience. It allows you to focus your resources on creating original content that aligns with your business goals. Shared content increases your Return On Effort (ROE).

5. Networking Opportunities

Sharing content from other businesses or influencers in your industry can foster relationships and collaborations. When you tag or mention the content creators, you create opportunities for meaningful connections and partnerships. Don't expect everyone you tag to comment on your post, but when they do, be sure to respond and thank them for their comment.

6. Audience Education

Sharing educational content can help your audience stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and relevant news. When you position your business as a source of valuable information, you become an essential resource for your audience.

7. Improved Reach & Visibility

Sharing shared content that resonates with your audience can increase your post reach. If users engage with your shared content by liking, sharing, or commenting, it can extend your page's reach to their networks, potentially attracting new followers.

8. Content Personalization

Curating content allows you to tailor your posts to your audience's interests and needs. By understanding your followers' preferences, you can share content that speaks directly to them, enhancing their overall experience on your Facebook page.

9. Enhanced Brand Personality

The content you choose to share reflects your brand's values and personality. Curating content that aligns with your brand's identity can help reinforce your brand image and attract like-minded customers.

Challenges Of Sharing Shared Content
